To set up the camera and prepare it for shooting with Sexy Ceramic diffusers, the following steps must be taken

Set the following parameters on the camera:

  • 1/125

  • f/22

  • ISO 200

These are universal settings for most cameras, except for Nikon. For Nikon cameras, you need to set

  • 1/125

  • f/32

  • ISO 200

After this, attach the flash to the camera and put the diffusers on it. Then adjust the flash power according to the model:

  • Godox MF 12 – 1/4+0,7

  • Yongnuo YN24EX – 1/8

  • Canon MT 24/26 – 1/4

  • Nikon R1C1 – 1/2

Diffusers have two working positions:

First position – zero

In this case, the flashes are aligned in a straight line with the ring on the camera. This position is used for mirror photography

Second position – 3 clicks to the side

This is formed when the diffusers are tilted three clicks to the side from the zero position. This position is intended for photographing smiles – with retractors, with contrasters or just of a smile

Tip #1

When photographing at a 45-degree angle with retractors, a shadow may appear on the sixth or seventh tooth. To eliminate this shadow, you need to turn the diffuser inwards by 1–2 clicks on the side where it forms.

Tip #2

If you want to compactly store the camera, do not separate the camera and lens, as dust may enter inside, which will then appear in the photos. If you need to remove the flash, just take off the diffusers along with the flash and ring from the camera — this way the camera will become compact. There’s no need to remove and put on the diffusers every time, as you still won’t use the flash without the diffusers. Right?
