For setting up the camera and preparing the softbox with flashes for portrait shooting
The camera settings can be adjusted at your discretion. However, I advise never changing the basic camera parameters for any type of shooting: portraits, mirror selfies, or intraoral photographs. It’s better to keep the parameters stable and control the light instead. This allows for fewer changes to the camera settings and consistently shooting on the same parameters. Of course, the final decision is always up to you.
You can use two types of flashes with the Sexy SoftBox:
Godox MF-12
Camera settings:
1/125
f/22
ISO 400
These are universal settings for most cameras, except for Nikon. For Nikon cameras, you need to set
1/125
f/32
ISO 400
The power of the Godox MF-12 flash is 1/1
The distance from the face to the Sexy SoftBox is approximately 45cm.
Godox AD-100PRO
